Law practice of the firm Boonchoo Counselor Ltd (BCL) was established in Thailand in 1976 right after the founder resigned from banking practice, operated for many years under the name of Boonchoo International, Boonchoo Vipava & Glickman and Boonchoo Blumenthal & Richter. The firm Chairman, Mr. Boonchoo Yensabai was formerly In-House Counsel of Chase Manhattan Bank, Bangkok Branch (presently JP Morgan Chase). The practice is in alliance with a few associated law firms, particularly, Mr. Suprawat Jaisamut of Suprawat International Lawyers who is highly specialized in litigation matters and Theeraporn Puangchareon of Thampisut in commercial litigation. In international arena, it is in alliance of Aptus Law Corporation of Singapore and Vovan & Associes of France.
